Pet Simulator 99 Plant & Combine: The Fast Route Through Update 87
A player route for the August 1, 2026 Plant & Combine update: Garden Missions, Super Rebirth, Coin Bosses, variants, Combine-o-Matic and Diamond Egg.

What should you do now?
Build the garden economy first: progress the 12 Garden Eggs, improve the units you actually place, clear the three Garden Missions, and unlock Super Rebirth. Feed spare pets and Sunflower Gifts into combining only after your lane damage can keep Coin Bosses moving.
Do this
- Finish the three Garden Missions that unlock Super Rebirth.
- Fuse duplicates into the placed units that are holding your lanes back.
- Use Sunflower Gifts deliberately: open for their drops or feed the combine chain.
Avoid this
- Do not feed your only useful lane units into the Combine-o-Matic.
- Do not spend the permanent diamond reserve on the limited Diamond Egg by impulse.
- Do not follow the July 25 event route without accounting for the August 1 changes.
The event route in six moves
- 1
Hatch the best Garden Egg you have unlocked and fill every available lane position.
- 2
Fuse duplicate low-impact units into the pets that carry your current lanes.
- 3
Spend early upgrades on the measured blocker: unit damage, attack speed, coins, crops or luck.
- 4
Complete all three Garden Missions—defeat coins, harvest crops and earn rebirth progress—to open Super Rebirth.
- 5
Push Coin Bosses for Sunflower Gifts and limited pet chances while the farm plots keep producing Sunflowers offline.
- 6
Use the Combine-o-Matic once spare pets and gifts no longer weaken the core defense.
What Update 87 changed
| System | Official change | Player decision |
|---|---|---|
| Combine-o-Matic | Combines pets and gifts through a chain up to Huges and a Titanic | Protect the working team before feeding duplicates. |
| Pet variants | Garden pets can hatch Gold, Shiny and Rainbow; rarest variants deal up to 5x damage | Compare lane damage, not color alone. |
| Garden Eggs | Four more eggs; ladder now reaches 12 | Upgrade access before over-hatching a lower egg. |
| Super Rebirth | Unlocked after all three Garden Missions | Make missions the central route, not side chores. |
| Diamond Egg | Limited egg with Diamond Penguin and Diamond Capybara routes | Separate this spend from the free event economy. |
| Upgrade Machine | Expanded to 20 tiers | Buy the bottleneck rather than spreading every currency evenly. |
Open the gift or combine it?
| Your state | Better default |
|---|---|
| Lane damage is weak | Keep useful pets; open some gifts for immediate resources. |
| Core team is stable | Feed true duplicates and surplus gifts into the chain. |
| You are one step from a known combine reward | Finish only if the input cost is acceptable. |
| You need quick diamonds | Check live market demand before choosing to sell, open or combine. |
| You are guessing the recipe | Stop and read the visible in-game machine requirements. |
Coin Boss and Super Rebirth priority
- Coin Bosses become harder and richer as the garden progresses.
- Super Rebirth requires the Garden Missions, so mission completion should not be postponed behind endless low-level hatching.
- Bloom Tokens make breakable defeats count faster toward bosses; use them when the team can actually kill the resulting boss.
- Rain and Better Luck help reward odds, but damage still determines how many boss attempts you complete.
- The Gargantuan Rose Wolf route still requires reaching Rebirth 6 before the boss drop is available.
Limited pets worth tracking, not promising
The official update names Blossom Kitsune, Chili Chinchilla, Zucchini Zebra, Diamond Penguin and Diamond Capybara among its Titanic routes. Huge routes include Combine-o-Matic rewards, Coin Boss drops, Garden Eggs, League rewards and the Diamond Egg.
Those are acquisition routes, not guaranteed odds. Check the in-game interface and official database before spending because availability and market supply move during the event.
